Best Beaches of Ayia Napa
The most popular resort in the eastern part of Cyprus offers its guests not only a vibrant nightlife but also a coastline rich in stunning beaches. You can find the locations by clicking on the links in the titles.
Nissi Beach
The most famous beach, known mainly for its turquoise waters and white sand. It has all the necessary infrastructure, bars, and water activities. Another highlight is the spit of land that connects the beach to a small island.
Makronissos Beach
Turquoise water and white sand again, but with fewer noisy activities and a greater focus on family-friendly relaxation. It has been awarded the "Blue Flag," which is given to beaches for water cleanliness and safe swimming.
Ayia Thekla Beach
This beach stands out due to its sand color — not white like most beaches in the area, but creamy. Nearby, there is a small beach called Poseidonas, known for its arch for photo sessions, although it is technically part of Ayia Thekla.
Gliki Nero Beach
Like Makronissos, it also boasts the "Blue Flag." The water is very shallow and warms up quickly, making it a favorite for families with young children.
Pantahou Beach
Popular due to its proximity to the city, so it is best to arrive early to grab good spots. It also has the "Blue Flag" award.
Pernera Beach
A very small but conveniently located beach in a bay, and very beautiful due to the curved shore and palm grove. Wi-Fi is available here.
Landa Beach
Also known as the "Golden Beach" due to the color of its sand. Quite popular, with a smooth and gradual entrance to the sea. Free Wi-Fi is available for a limited time.
Mikri Landa Beach
Located next to the previous beach, in a beautiful bay, this is its "younger sibling." It is one of the few wild beaches without infrastructure.
Sandy Bay / Vatia Gonia Beach
A popular beach near the city. It features rich infrastructure, a gentle entrance to the sea, wireless internet access, and a "Blue Flag" award. Its highlight is the diving club.
Katsarka Beach
A small-sized beach, one of the few sand-and-pebble beaches in this region. It is not recommended for children.
Sirens Beach
This beach is not very popular, but it is very clean and beautiful. Its solitude is partly due to the presence of stones in the water, but if you enjoy deserted places, this one is for you.
Lukos tu Mandri Beach
A city beach in Ayia Napa, lacking special infrastructure and with not the best coverage, making it unsuitable for swimming.
Kermia-Limnara Beach
Its proximity to the Kavo Greco National Park speaks volumes, as does its "Blue Flag" award. There are no loud activities here, but all necessary infrastructure, including internet, is available.
Lachi Beach
Clear water and a gentle entry. Due to the water's transparency and the stones in the water, it is great for snorkeling.
Liopetri Beach
Located next to a fishing village, it offers the bonus of a restaurant with fresh catch. There is almost no infrastructure here.
Amos tu Kampouri Beach
This beach is not ideal for swimming due to the stones, but it is very beautiful, with a photo session area on the shore. The "Blue Flag" award says a lot about its quality.
Dom Beach
Also known as Western Makronissos. With light sand and a gentle entrance, this beach is popular among families with children. The nearby hotel has a designated area for its guests.
Ziatzi Beach
Perfect for those who love solitude, as it is a wild beach with no infrastructure. Everything, from mats to drinking water, needs to be brought with you.
