March 26 — 29: Theatre Festival

A theatre festival, dedicated to World Theatre Day celebrated on March 27, will be held at the Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center. During the festival from March 26 to 29, four performances will be presented to the audience.

  • March 26: Comedy play "Cümbüş Var" by Open Theatre Cyprus
  • March 27: Famagusta Theatre's play "Anatomy of Separation"
  • March 28: Iskele Municipal Theatre's production "Dangerous Obsession"
  • March 29: Performance by the creative group "Kıssa" featuring 4 short plays

March 27: Play "Shakespeare's Ghost"

Theatre production in Turkish will take place at Girne Municipal Theatre near the market. Age restriction 16+.

March 29: Diamond Band Concert in Famagusta

You can dance to popular song covers at Forte Live in the old town of Famagusta near the port. The age limit is 12+, so you can bring children to the event.

March 29: Cyprians Band Concert at the Winery

A unique concert where musicians represent both parts of Cyprus — North and South. They will perform jazz arrangements of popular songs. The location is also excellent — a winery, which we have already talked about.

March 31: Play "12 Angry Men"

A two-act drama directed by Eli Gilman with Russian-speaking actors from Northern Cyprus. The performance based on the script by American playwright Reginald Rose will take place at Girne Municipal Theatre near the market.
