August 20th: Temperatures in Northern Cyprus to Reach 38°C

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Tuesday, August 20th, the region will continue to be influenced by low pressure and hot, humid air. The weather in Northern Cyprus will remain clear, with only slight cloud cover and no rainfall expected.

Air temperatures will stay within seasonal norms. The hottest conditions are anticipated in Nicosia and Ercan, with temperatures reaching up to 38°C. On the northern coast, temperatures will range between 33-36°C.

Winds will be moderate from the southwest, and no storms are forecasted for today.

Two weather warnings remain in effect in Northern Cyprus. The risk of natural wildfires continues to be very high.

Ultraviolet radiation levels are also very high.

It's advised not to stay under the sun for more than 10 minutes, particularly between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking proper precautions.
