Strong Winds and Partly Cloudy Skies Expected in Northern Cyprus on September 20
According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, low pressure and hot, humid air will influence the region on Friday, September 20. Forecasters predict partly cloudy skies with no rainfall.
Temperatures are expected to remain within the seasonal average, ranging between 26-33°C across most parts of the country.
Winds will be strong, blowing from the southwest. However, no storms are anticipated today.
Two weather warnings remain in place for Northern Cyprus.
The risk of wildfires remains high, and the ultraviolet (UV) radiation level is also elevated.
It’s recommended to avoid direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking appropriate precautions.

- Northern coast: Kyrenia – 29°C, Lapta – 30°C, Akdeniz – 29°C, Alevkaya – 28°C, Esentepe – 29°C
- Western coast: Lefke – 32°C, Güzelyurt – 31°C
- Central region: Nicosia – 32°C, Ercan – 33°C
- Eastern coast: Famagusta – 32°C, İskele – 32°C
- Karpas: Yenierenköy – 29°C
