Dust and Clouds in the Forecast for Northern Cyprus on April 24
According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, Northern Cyprus will be under the influence of low atmospheric pressure and warm, humid air on Thursday, April 24. The forecast calls for cloudy skies without any rainfall, while African dust will continue to hang in the air.
Temperatures are expected to rise 2 to 3°C above the seasonal average, ranging between 22°C and 27°C across most parts of the island. The hottest weather is expected in Nicosia, Güzelyurt, and İskele.
Winds will be moderate and coming from the southwest, occasionally picking up in strength in some areas.
Meteorologists have issued a dust warning for the region. The African dust, carried in from the north of the continent, is expected to remain in the atmosphere until the morning of April 25.

• Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 22°C, Lapta – 20°C, Akdeniz – 24°C, Alevkaya – 22°C, Esentepe – 23°C
• Western Coast: Lefke – 26°C, Güzelyurt – 27°C
• Central Region: Nicosia – 26°C, Ercan – 25°C
• Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 23°C, İskele – 26°C
• Karpas Peninsula: Yenierenköy – 22°C
