Lefke Delegation Promotes TRNC Folklore at Festival in North Macedonia
A delegation from the Lefke Association for Folklore Research and Culture proudly represented the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) at a cultural exhibition in North Macedonia, showcasing the island’s traditional folklore and cultural heritage.
Although the association was only recently established, it has already made impressive strides in expanding its international presence. This time, the group participated in the International Folklore Festival – Saraj Fest, held in North Macedonia, where it introduced the rich cultural traditions of Northern Cyprus.
The delegation took to the festival stage with traditional dance performances and proudly displayed the TRNC flag during the event.
The Lefke Association for Folklore Research and Culture continues to actively engage in international events, with the aim of preserving and promoting the cultural identity and values of the TRNC.
