Erhan Arıklı Re-elected Chairman of the Revival Party
TRNC President Ersin Tatar congratulated Erhan Arıklı on his re-election as the chairman of the Revival Party (YDP). The Minister of Public Works and Transport was re-elected as the party leader during the IV Congress of YDP, which took place over the weekend at the Atatürk Sports Hall in Nicosia.
According to the voting results at the congress, Erhan Arıklı received 1956 votes. A total of 3,861 party members participated in the elections. 31 votes were declared invalid.
Ersin Tatar called Erhan Arıklı to congratulate him on his victory in the elections, noting that YDP conducted its congress in accordance with democratic principles with a large number of participants.
The President of Northern Cyprus also noted that he congratulated another candidate, Deputy Tayip Atalay, who contributed to the democratic conduct of the IV Congress of YDP.
"I sincerely hope that YDP will continue to contribute to the development of the country, as well as to the prosperity and happiness of our people," said the President of Northern Cyprus.
