An additional 174 foreigners have been granted permission to purchase real estate in the TRNC
The Council of Ministers of the TRNC has granted permission for another 174 foreign citizens to acquire real estate. The decision was published in the "Official Gazette."
According to the document, out of the 174 individuals to whom the Council of Ministers decided to grant permission, 122 are citizens of Turkey, and the remaining 52 are citizens of third countries.
The permission was granted on the condition that the real estate they acquire is free from any encumbrances.
"The Council of Ministers, in accordance with Law No. 52/2008 'On the acquisition of real estate and long-term lease (foreigners),' has granted permissions for the acquisition of real estate to a total of 174 foreign citizens, 122 of whom are citizens of the Republic of Turkey, and 52 are citizens of third countries," the document states.
It is worth reminding that at the end of April, 306 foreigners received a similar permission.
