Another 83 people have been granted citizenship in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus
The Council of Ministers of the TRNC approved citizenship for 83 individuals who have been residing in the country for an extended period and have earned the right to become full-fledged citizens of the state.
All candidates met specific conditions outlined by the Citizenship Law.
The decision came into effect after the publication of the list of naturalized citizens in the "Official Gazette."
Recall that it was previously reported that from January 1 to November 12, 2023, 4,263 people obtained TRNC citizenship. Of these, 764 individuals were naturalized through an exceptional process decided by the Council of Ministers, and an additional 867 acquired citizenship because they previously had work permits.
