Four More Individuals Declared Prohibited Immigrants in TRNC
The Council of Ministers of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has declared four individuals as "prohibited immigrants." The decisions were published in the "Official Gazette."
According to the document, the individuals declared prohibited immigrants are Turkish citizens Yahya Ezer, born on September 3, 2001, and Saim Founder, born on December 1, 1960. Based on a security report from the General Directorate of Police, the Council of Ministers deemed their behavior as potentially threatening to public and administrative order or general morals, and possibly inciting hostility among TRNC residents.
Furthermore, the Council of Ministers ruled that Felat Baver Taşçier, born on August 16, 1989, has an arrest warrant for crimes related to fraud using information systems, theft, and insult using information systems. Since he is wanted by the Republic of Turkey, it was decided to declare him a prohibited immigrant.
The fourth individual declared persona non grata, Diren Düzgün, born on January 18, 1993, has an arrest warrant for crimes related to the trafficking and possession of drugs for personal use. She is also wanted by the Republic of Turkey under Chapter 105 of the Aliens and Immigration Law.
