European Commission Allocates Over 2 Million Euros to Support Cypriot NGOs

The European Commission has announced a grant competition to support non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Cyprus. The total budget for proposals is 2,250,000 euros.

According to the announcement, the competition falls under the "Ninth Civil Society Grants Program in Cyprus." The project aims to bolster civil society and promote the values and standards of the European Union. The program has been implemented through grants totaling more than 17.5 million euros, which the European Commission has provided through proposal competitions for civil society in Cyprus since 2007.

Applications will be accepted until July 22, and detailed information on submitting project proposals can be found here.

Additionally, the European Commission has launched a two-year project to integrate Cypriot-Turkish companies into the island's economy and the EU single market, with a budget of 4 million euros.
