Northern Cyprus President Attends Wedding of Turkish Vice President’s Son
President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ersin Tatar and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel attended the wedding of Ferhat Yılmaz, son of Turkey’s Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. Tatar also served as a witness at the ceremony.
The TRNC leader shared photos from the wedding on social media, writing:
“We had the honor of witnessing the wedding ceremony of Mr. Ferhat and Ms. Esra, the cherished son and daughter-in-law of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. I wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness!”
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz is a frequent visitor to Northern Cyprus. His most recent visit was in late January, when he participated in a meeting on the country’s five-year development plan.
