Karpas Historical Buildings Urged to Be Given to Youth to Boost Tourism
The "Dipkarpaz" Association for Environmental Protection and Social Activities has called for the transfer of old historical buildings in the Karpas region to young people, with the aim of using them for tourism purposes.
The authors of the appeal believe that if youth unemployment is not addressed, migration will become unavoidable.
In a statement, the president of the Association, Firat Borak, emphasized that these buildings should be handed over to young entrepreneurs, provided they are used for tourism and agricultural purposes.
By attracting tourists, this initiative would not only help reduce youth unemployment but also prevent migration. The association has also proposed introducing a special incentive system to incorporate these historic buildings into the growing eco-tourism sector in the region.
