KIB-TEK will cut off electricity to debtors today
The Cyprus-Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has warned debtors about electricity disconnection. According to the resource provider, electricity will be cut off to persistent non-payers today, May 6.
In the energy company's announcement, it states that due to the collection of outstanding debts, electricity will be disconnected on Monday, May 6, 2024, for all individuals and legal entities whose bill payment deadline expired in April 2024 or earlier, and whose debt exceeds 675 TL.
To avoid problems with electricity supply, subscribers are urged to settle their outstanding debts.
The announcement also reminded that the fee for reconnection is 275.87 Turkish liras.
It is worth noting that in April, the energy company disconnected debtors from electricity twice.
