5 Million Lira Jackpot Drawn in Northern Cyprus on Atatürk Memorial Day
In celebration of Atatürk Memorial, Youth and Sports Day on May 19, a special state lottery draw was held in Northern Cyprus. The grand prize was an impressive 5 million Turkish lira.
The draw was organized by the Lottery Department, and the winning ticket number was 81869. The identity of the jackpot winner and the location where the ticket was purchased have not yet been revealed.
For comparison, the previous draw took place in mid-April, when the jackpot stood at 3.5 million lira. That winning ticket was purchased in Nicosia.

Atatürk Memorial, Youth and Sports Day was marked across Northern Cyprus on May 19, commemorating the 106th anniversary of the start of the Turkish War of Independence. The historic event began with the landing of the nation’s founding leader, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, in Samsun. Ceremonies and celebrations were held in every district of the TRNC.
