Leader of Turkish Opposition to Visit the TRNC
The leader of Turkey's opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), Özgür Özel, is set to visit Northern Cyprus. He will arrive on the island on Friday, November 15, to participate in the 41st anniversary celebrations of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
According to Turkish media reports, Özel will take part in official events marking the occasion and is also scheduled to meet with the President of the TRNC, Ersin Tatar.
It is noteworthy that last year, Özel visited Northern Cyprus for the 40th anniversary of the TRNC.
