The Municipality of Catalkoy-Esentepe threatened legal action against environmental pollution
The Municipality of Catalkoy-Esentepe has announced that it will take legal action against individuals who dump construction waste along roads.
In the municipality's statement, it is mentioned that construction waste has been dumped in the region despite warnings that illegal dumping is prohibited.
As environmental cleanup is a social responsibility, legal actions will be taken against citizens who dispose of construction waste along the Catalkoy-Degirmenlik road.
"Our municipal teams have started clearing heaps of garbage dumped in various locations in the area, and after extensive efforts, most of them have been cleaned up. Our municipality has taken all necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such problems. We inform all residents that in case of discovering such incidents, all necessary penalty measures will be applied against the culprits," the municipality's statement said.
