Bellapais Music Festival to Begin on May 16
The 27th International Music Festival in Bellapais will kick off this week in Northern Cyprus. Widely regarded as the island's most prestigious classical music event, the festival will run from May 16 to June 20.
Featuring exceptional artists from Turkey, Europe, and Africa, the festival will showcase iconic works from the world of classical music. It aims to foster intercultural musical collaboration and broaden artistic exchange.
All concerts will be held at the historic Bellapais Monastery and will start at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at 500 Turkish Lira and can be purchased at the Bellapais box office or at the concert entrance.
The festival will open on May 16 with a performance by Kiann, an Italo-Persian pianist, keyboardist, music producer, and composer known for his contemporary neoclassical style.
