Young Man Drowns at Alagadi Beach
A young man tragically drowned while swimming at Alagadi Beach in Northern Cyprus last evening.
According to emergency services, the incident occurred around 7:15 PM. The victim, identified as 25-year-old Şaban Eker, was pulled from the water and given first aid on the beach. Despite resuscitation efforts, he did not respond.
He was then transported by ambulance to Akçiçek Hospital in Kyrenia, where doctors continued attempts to revive him. Unfortunately, they were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead.
The police are investigating the circumstances and causes of the incident.
