Entry to the Mevlevi Range Prohibited Due to Mortar Shelling
Authorities in the Güzelyurt district reported that mortar shelling is taking place in the Mevlevi Range area. Maneuvers will be conducted from January 2 to January 22. On these specified days, entry to the areas around the range will be prohibited.
In a written statement from the Güzelyurt district administration, it is emphasized that for the safety of life and property, entering the range territory is not allowed from 07:00 to 22:00 on the days of the shooting.
It is also noted that since the search and destruction of unexploded rounds will continue for some time after the shooting, entry to the territory should not occur until the ban is officially lifted by the command.
