Hot and Dusty Weather Persists in Northern Cyprus on May 23rd
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, Thursday, May 23rd, witnesses the region under the influence of low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists forecast variable cloud cover with no precipitation.
Temperatures are expected to soar 4–6 degrees above the climatic norm. Across most areas, temperatures will fluctuate between 28 to 36°C.
Winds from the northwest are of moderate strength, occasionally gusting strongly. No storms are anticipated for today. Northern Cyprus is currently under three weather warnings. The region maintains a high risk of wildfires and a moderate level of ultraviolet radiation.
It's advisable to limit sun exposure to 15 minutes, especially between 11:00 to 16:00, without adequate precautions.
Furthermore, dust remains suspended in the atmosphere, expected to persist until week's end.
