On April 5th, cloudy and dusty weather without precipitation is expected in Northern Cyprus

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), on Friday, April 5th, the region will be affected by low pressure and warm, humid air. Cloudy weather without precipitation is expected in Northern Cyprus, with dust in the air and relatively high temperatures.

Today, the thermometer readings will rise 2-4 degrees above the seasonal climatic norm. The maximum temperature in some areas will reach 29°C.

The wind will be southwest, of moderate strength. No storms are expected in the region today.

Meanwhile, three emergency warnings from meteorologists continue to be in effect in the region. Dust from North Africa remains in the atmosphere over the TRNC.

Also, in Northern Cyprus, there is a high level of ultraviolet radiation and a risk of forest fires.

Citizens are advised not to stay in the sun for more than 20 minutes, especially from 11:00 to 16:00, without taking necessary precautions.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 24°C, Lapta – 22°C, Akdeniz - 23°C, Alevkaya - 26°C, Esentepe - 23°C.

Western Coast: Lefke – 23°C, Guzelyurt – 25°C.

Central Part: Nicosia – 29°C, Ercan – 29°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 24°C, Iskele – 24°C.

Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 24°C.
