On June 6th, Northern Cyprus continues to experience extremely hot weather
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, Thursday, June 6th, sees the region under the influence of low pressure and hot air. Air temperatures continue to soar, with Northern Cyprus experiencing exceptionally scorching conditions.
Temperatures are expected to rise 7-9°C above the seasonal norm. In certain areas, temperatures could reach as high as 44°C.
Winds are coming from the northwest at moderate strength, with no storms predicted for today.
Several meteorological warnings are in place for Northern Cyprus. The risk of natural fires is elevated to a very high level, and the level of ultraviolet radiation is also high. It's advisable not to spend more than 15 minutes under the sun, especially between 11:00 and 16:00, without taking necessary precautions.

North Coast: Kyrenia – 36°C, Lapta – 37°C, Akdeniz - 42°C, Alevkaya - 39°C, Esentepe - 39°C.
West Coast: Lefke – 42°C, Güzelyurt – 39°C.
Central Part: Nicosia – 44°C, Ercan – 44°C.
Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 37°C, Iskele – 38°C.
Karpas: Yenierenköy – 36°C.
