Weather Warnings in Northern Cyprus: June 13th Forecast

According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, on Thursday, June 13th, the region will continue to be affected by low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists predict clear, very hot, dusty, and cloudless weather with no precipitation.

The air temperature will rise 8-10°C above the seasonal norm. The maximum temperature will reach up to 44°C. The highest temperatures are expected in Nicosia, Ercan, and Geçitkale.

The wind will be southwesterly and of moderate strength. No storms are expected today.

There are four simultaneous weather warnings in effect in Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires remains very high. The level of ultraviolet radiation is also very high.

It is advised not to stay under the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.

Additionally, in the coming days, the region will continue to experience abnormal heat with temperatures up to 46°C and dust in the air brought from North Africa.
