Drone Use Banned on Northern Cyprus for Several Days
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has announced that from November 12 to November 15, air sports and the use of drones will be prohibited across the country. This measure is due to the upcoming rehearsals for parades and airshows, which are part of the Republic Day celebrations on November 15.
According to the statement by the Civil Aviation Department, "Due to the airshow and parade rehearsals for the Republic Day celebrations on November 15, all air sports and drone flights will be prohibited from 18:06 on November 12 until 16:41 on November 15, unless special permission is granted by the Civil Aviation Department."
The detailed schedule for the Republic Day events celebrating the 41st anniversary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will be announced later.
