Champion Decided in Northern Cyprus Christmas Golf Tournament
The Christmas Cracker golf tournament took place in Northern Cyprus, and the champion emerged as Paul Coppicus, scoring 38 points.
The tournament occurred last Sunday, December 17, at the CMC Golf Club Yesilyurt course. Competitions were held over 18 holes in the Stableford format. Rainer Lemann secured the second position with 36 points, while John Eldridge claimed the bronze.
After the tournament, awards were presented to the winners by the captain of the CMC Golf Club, Aydin Turker.
Stableford is a scoring system used in golf. Instead of counting the total number of strokes made, as in a regular stroke play, points are awarded based on the number of strokes made at each hole.
