Significant Personnel Changes Announced in Northern Cyprus
A series of notable personnel changes has been announced in Northern Cyprus, with dismissals and appointments within the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources officially published in the Official Gazette.
According to the document, Ozan Özüyanık, who served as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources, has been dismissed. He has been replaced by Ercan Akerzurumlulu, who was previously removed from his position as Director of the Department of Agriculture.
Key changes within the Ministry of Interior include the following:
- Director of the Social Housing Department, Ergin Erçoban, has been dismissed, and Erkan Baştas has been appointed as his successor.
- Director of the Department of Resettlement and Rehabilitation, Serdar Kiracıoğlu, has been relieved of his duties and replaced by Ercan Beşerler.
- Director of the Immigration Department, Erhan Akar, has also been dismissed.
- Serdar Kiracıoğlu has now been appointed as the Director of the Cartography Department.
All the published decisions come into effect immediately.
