In Northern Cyprus, a drunk driver caused two accidents in two different villages. The accidents occurred within a 15-minute difference.
According to the police press service, a 63-year-old driver, under the influence of alcohol, first crashed into a parked car in Mormenekse and fled the scene, and then collided with the car in front of him in Mutluyaka.
The first accident occurred at 16:45. The intoxicated driver awkwardly reversed and crashed into the right side of a parked car. Just 15 minutes later, at 17:00 in Mutluyaka, an elderly man collided with a car traveling in the same direction in front of him, which braked, hitting an obstacle. The distance between the two villages is about 5 kilometers.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incidents. However, legal proceedings have been initiated against the driver. Police investigation into both incidents continues.
