North Cyprus to Present 10-Year Tourism Master Plan Today
Northern Cyprus is set to unveil its official Tourism Development Master Plan for 2025–2034 today. The presentation will take place at 11:00 AM at the Concorde Tower Hotel in Lefkoşa. For the first time, the public will be introduced to the government's vision and strategic goals for the tourism sector over the next decade.
The plan, prepared by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, is the result of an extensive nationwide consultation and assessment process.
In developing the plan, the ministry held a series of inclusive meetings with local municipalities, community leaders, NGOs, universities, and tourism industry representatives.
Key topics discussed during these meetings included local tourism potential, cultural heritage preservation, and alternative tourism models. All feedback and suggestions were carefully analyzed using scientific methods and incorporated into the final version of the plan.
The TRNC Tourism Master Plan is a comprehensive roadmap shaped by diverse public input. It lays out a strategic framework for making Northern Cyprus’s tourism industry more competitive, sustainable, and innovative over the next 10 years.
