Stray Dogs Poisoned Again in Northern Cyprus: This Time in Paşaköy
A disturbing case of animal cruelty has emerged in Northern Cyprus, where an unknown individual poisoned a stray dog in Paşaköy. Animal rights activists have joined the effort to find the perpetrator.
The "Golden Paws" Association issued a statement addressing the recent poisoning incident in Paşaköy. Representatives from the organization visited the local police station accompanied by a lawyer from the Turkish Cypriot Bar Association’s Animal Rights Committee.
In their outreach, the representatives also called on local residents for assistance in identifying the individual responsible for this heinous act.
"We hope that through our ongoing efforts, the person behind this appalling act will be brought to justice," the association stated on social media.
Earlier this month, subscribers from İskele reported similar incidents involving the poisoning of stray animals. Moreover, prior to this, at least seven dogs had died from poisoning along the promenade in Lapta.
