School Holidays End in Northern Cyprus
The 16-day February school break in Northern Cyprus is coming to an end, and students will return to their classrooms on Monday.
On February 17, a total of 62,000 students will head back to school, including 28,000 in 128 primary schools, 30,000 in 48 secondary and high schools, and 4,000 in 13 vocational and technical schools.
In addition, 6,300 teachers from both public and private schools, along with 450 students from vocational training centers and adult education programs, will return to work.
The first semester of the 2024-2025 school year, which began on September 23, concluded on January 31, with the distribution of report cards. The February break in TRNC started on February 1.
The second semester will wrap up on June 16.
