On Northern Cyprus, strong winds and showers are returning: Weather on January 9
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, on Tuesday, January 9, the region continues to be under the influence of low pressure and cool, humid air. Meteorologists predict variable cloudiness, strong winds, and occasional showers.
The maximum air temperature will be 22°C, which is 2-4°C above the seasonal climatic norm. The wind is strong, coming from the southwest.
There is one meteorological warning in effect for Northern Cyprus. Dust from North Africa, which has entered the region, will persist in the air until noon today.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 20°C, Lapta – 19°C, Akdeniz - 18°C, Alevkaya - 15°C, Esentepe - 18°C.
Western Coast: Lefke – 18°C, Güzelyurt - 20°C.
Central Part: Nicosia - 20°C, Ercan - 20°C.
Eastern Coast: Famagusta - 20°C, Iskele - 20°C.
Karpasia: Yenierenkoy – 19°C.
