New Chairman Appointed to Kıb-Tek Board of Directors
Personnel changes continue at the top of the Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek) in Northern Cyprus. Following the resignation of Kubilay Özkyraç, the new chairman of the board has been appointed as Gürsel Uzun, who previously held a similar role at the Institute of Soil Products.
According to a decision by the Council of Ministers, Yenal Garabli has been appointed to fill the vacant position at the Institute of Soil Products. In addition, following the resignation of the institute’s former director, Soli Baybar, Kürşat Özer has been named as the new head of the institution.
The decisions made by the Council of Ministers regarding these appointments and dismissals were officially published in the Official Gazette.
It’s important to note that Hüseyin Paşa, the former chairman of the board, was removed from his position last week. He was succeeded by the former president of the Electricity Workers’ Union of Cyprus and Turkey (EL-SEN), Kubilay Özkyraç. However, Özkyraç resigned the very next day after his appointment.
