Child’s Father Arrested for Forging Child’s Grade in University System
In Northern Cyprus, a man has been detained for allegedly forging his child’s university grades. According to the police, 59-year-old A.D. illegally accessed the university’s information system and changed one of the grades to a higher value.
The incident occurred on January 3, 2025. The investigation revealed that the man used a password issued to him for other purposes to log into the university system. He had no authority to modify academic records.

The arrest took place at the tourist port of Kyrenia when A.D. was returning to the country. Law enforcement emphasized that the man’s actions qualify as interference with an official information system and data forgery.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are determining all circumstances of the case and checking whether other individuals may have been involved.
