Throughout Cyprus, a Lithuanian fraudster with terrifying face tattoos is being sought
In the Republic of Cyprus, a man with a facial tattoo, who committed theft and fraud, is being sought. He may have fled to the TRNC and to Turkey. According to local media reports, police units in the Republic of Cyprus, Greece, and Interpol are focused on searching for the suspected Lithuanian citizen. The criminal has not yet been found.
According to the police, a 40-year-old Lithuanian, Deivis Vaitkavicius (14.07.1983), is wanted for suspicion of committing theft and fraud in Nicosia on February 13. After committing the crimes, the suspect evaded law enforcement. The police issued a warrant for his arrest.
It is known that the suspect has a very memorable appearance - his entire face is covered with tattoos. Cypriot police suspect that the criminal may have crossed the border into the TRNC and Turkey, as well as neighboring countries.
"We urge anyone who knows anything about the whereabouts of the criminal to contact the Nicosia TAE (Criminal Investigations Department) by phone at 22-802222, their nearest police station, or call the hotline at 1460," the message said.
