The Famagusta Police detained a man with five pistols
During a special operation in Famagusta, the police seized five pistols and five magazines for them. The owner of the weapons has been arrested.
According to the police press service, the operation was carried out by the Famagusta Police Department teams yesterday around 17:00.
During searches conducted in the car and bag of a 55-year-old man, five pistols and five magazines for them were discovered. The weapons and ammunition were confiscated as physical evidence.
The police reported that the owner of the seized arsenal has been arrested. An investigation is underway regarding the detained individual.
