TRNC Police Create Logo from Seized Ecstasy Pills
The Police Headquarters of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has announced a major crackdown on drug traffickers. As part of Operation “F,” nearly 11,000 ecstasy pills were seized in Northern Cyprus.
According to police reports, the operation was carried out by the Narcotics and Smuggling Bureau in Famagusta and İncilir.
In total, 10,900 pills suspected of containing MDMA were discovered, weighing around 4 kilograms. Authorities also seized about 20 grams of methamphetamine, a glass pipe likely containing drug residues, and 18,100 Turkish liras.
Police believe the money was proceeds from drug sales.
Two individuals were arrested during the operation, and they are suspected of being involved in the illegal drug trade.
In a unique twist, the police shared an image on social media showing their logo, which appeared to have been created using the seized ecstasy pills.
