The man injured in the Vadili accident has passed away in the hospital
A man who was injured in yesterday's accident in the village of Vadili has died in the hospital. Doctors were unable to save 47-year-old Yusuf Mert.
According to a statement from the police press service, the fatal accident occurred yesterday at 12:30 on Vatan Street in Vadili. Near the entrance to the S Mar market, the car driven by 47-year-old Yusuf Mert collided with a car traveling in the opposite direction.
Due to the impact, the car then hit another vehicle parked nearby before crashing into the wall of a supermarket.
Yusuf Mert, the victim of the accident, was transported to the state hospital in Nicosia, from where he was transferred to the hospital of the Middle East University. Despite all the interventions by the medical staff, he could not be saved.
The cause of the man's death will be determined based on the autopsy results. The investigation is ongoing.
