President Ersin Tatar and his wife organized a "Republican Reception" on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the TRNC

President Ersin Tatar and his wife Sibel organized a “Republican Reception” on November 15 to mark the 40th anniversary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. At the reception, the Presidential Symphony Orchestra and the Security Forces Command Orchestra performed the Anthem of the 40th Anniversary of the TRNC for the first time. Guests were also presented with a musical concert with a march of heroes of the republic and folk songs.
  
In his speech at the reception, President Ersin Tatar thanked everyone who took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the TRNC, organized at a dignified republican level.
  
The head of Northern Cyprus recalled that the TRNC is a symbol of the independence and freedom of the Turkish Cypriots, and emphasized the importance of strengthening the state for the free and dignified life of the people.
  
Ersin Tatar thanked the Republic of Turkey for its support in all areas of strengthening the state at the international level, as well as all the guests who attended the celebrations.
  
Let us remind you that TRNC Republic Day is a national holiday celebrated in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on November 15 of each year in memory of the proclamation of an independent state in 1983. This year the country celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding.
  
The annual celebrations began at 12:00 on November 14 and continued throughout the next day.
