TRNC President Returns from London
TRNC President Ersin Tatar has returned to Cyprus after completing a series of official meetings in London. During his visit to the UK capital, Tatar met with British parliamentarians and gave interviews to local media outlets.
According to the President’s press office, Tatar spoke at a reception titled "60 Years of the Cyprus Problem" held at the British Parliament. He addressed parliamentarians, ambassadors, business leaders, and the British press.
Tatar reiterated the Turkish Cypriot side's call for the UK, as a guarantor country, to treat Turkish Cypriots equally and to alleviate the unjust isolation they face.
In addition, Tatar met with Turkish Cypriot businesspeople, professional organizations, and civil society representatives during his trip.
The TRNC leader was accompanied by Special Representative Güneş Onar and Foreign Press Officer Kerem Haser throughout his visit to London.
