Children arriving in Northern Cyprus had their faces painted and were given flags of the TRNC and Turkey
An event was held at Ercan Airport on April 23, commemorating National Sovereignty and Children's Day. The youngest passengers had their faces painted with colorful paints and were given flags of the TRNC and the Republic of Turkey.
The celebration was organized by the airport management company, T&T Airport Management. During the event, clowns performed in the arrival and departure halls of the airport, entertaining young travelers and painting children's faces with colorful paints.

It is worth noting that National Sovereignty and Children's Day (Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı) is celebrated in Turkey on April 23. This Turkish holiday is considered official and is also widely celebrated in Northern Cyprus, making it not only a significant celebration but also a public holiday.
In honor of the holiday, traditional ceremonies and festive events are held in schools and various districts in Northern Cyprus on this day.
