206 Foreign Nationals Approved to Buy Property in the TRNC
The Council of Ministers of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has approved property purchase permits for an additional 206 foreign nationals. The decision was officially published in the Official Gazette.
According to the announcement, “In line with Law No. 52/2008 on the Acquisition of Immovable Property and Long-Term Lease (Foreigners), the Council of Ministers has granted permission to a total of 206 foreign nationals to purchase property.”
The approval is conditional—only properties that are free of any legal encumbrances or restrictions can be acquired. This marks the third time such a decision has been made in 2025. Previously, in late March, similar permits were granted to 217 foreign nationals.
