Thieves were discovered due to the theft of cash from a Russian woman
On November 24, a robbery took place at the villa of a Russian woman in Edremit. $1,500 USD and 1,000 Turkish liras in cash were stolen from the residence.
After the police traced the criminals, a search was conducted at their place of residence. The results of the investigative action shocked the police.
In the apartment, the following items were found: 1 gold ring worth $30,000 USD, 2 gold rings with diamonds, 2 pairs of gold earrings, a gold cross, black Arient brand wristwatches, 3 gold rings with a bee pattern, a pendant, one rose gold ring with a 0.5-carat diamond, one gold ring with a drop-shaped stone, one extendable gold cross 5-6 cm long with Greek symbols inside, one white gold ring with a rectangular stone, one white gold necklace with heart-shaped diamonds, one gold chain with sapphires, one rose gold bracelet, 2 rose gold crosses, one gold ring with a zircon, one rose gold ring with diamonds and pearls, a pair of nail-shaped earrings, white gold earrings, a necklace with diamonds, and a pair of earring sets. There were also 6 sets of gold necklaces of various lengths, a cross made of white and yellow gold, a gold ring with a ruby, a silver cross with a zircon, a bracelet with a stone, a gold ring with a leaf pattern and a stone on it, a red ruby, a gold pendant with a heart, and a gold pendant with a turtle.
The police suspect that all the discovered valuables were stolen at different times.
Both suspects in the serial thefts were arrested by the court for three days at the request of the investigation.
