Storm Warning Extended Until Noon – February 7 Weather Forecast
The TRNC Meteorology Department has extended the storm warning until noon today, as cold, humid air and low pressure continue to affect Northern Cyprus on Friday, February 7.
Forecasters predict cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms, while temperatures are expected to drop 2-4°C below the seasonal average, ranging between 7-13°C across most of the country.
Strong northwesterly winds will reach force 8 on the Beaufort scale, posing potential risks. Residents are advised to take precautions.

- Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 14°C, Lapta – 13°C, Akdeniz – 13°C, Alevkaya – 7°C, Esentepe – 10°C
- Western Coast: Lefke – 11°C, Güzelyurt – 14°C
- Central Region: Nicosia – 11°C, Ercan – 12°C
- Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 13°C, İskele – 13°C
- Karpas Peninsula: Yeni Erenköy – 11°C
