Famagusta Sports Facilities to Close for Renovations
Several sports facilities in Famagusta will temporarily close for renovations.
According to a statement from the municipality, two tennis courts, one volleyball court, two artificial turf fields, and one basketball court located in Kent Park, within the MAGEM complex in Sakarya, will be closed for repair work.
Once the renovations are completed, the facilities will be upgraded to become more versatile, catering to a wider variety of sports activities. The artificial turf fields will be replaced with modern, high-quality surfaces.
Famagusta authorities have emphasized that the main aim of the renovation is to improve the functionality and usability of the sports facilities for the community.
