Turkish Cypriot Swimmer to Represent Turkey at European Open Water Championships
Turkish Cypriot athlete Doğukan Ulaş will compete in the European Open Water Swimming Championships, representing the Turkish national team in Croatia.
Ulaş is set to swim the 10-kilometre race, which will take place on Wednesday, May 28, in Starigrad, Croatia. The race is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM local time (3:00 PM TRNC time).
If he finishes among the top 20 overall and ranks among the top two Turkish swimmers, Ulaş will earn a place at the World Championships in Singapore, set to be held from July 15 to 20.
