Temperature to Rise to 40°C: Weather in Northern Cyprus for June 11
According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, on Tuesday, June 11, the region will continue to be affected by low pressure and hot, humid air. Forecasters predict clear, hot, and slightly cloudy weather without precipitation.
The air temperature will rise by 4-6°C above the seasonal norm, reaching a maximum of up to 40°C. The highest temperatures are expected in Güzelyurt, Nicosia, and Ercan.
The wind will be moderate and from the southwest. No storms are anticipated today.
Two meteorological warnings are in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires remains very high. The level of ultraviolet radiation is also very high.
Avoid staying in the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.

- Northern coast: Kyrenia – 38°C, Lapta – 34°C, Akdeniz – 37°C, Alevkaya – 36°C, Esentepe – 36°C
- Western coast: Lefke – 39°C, Güzelyurt – 40°C
- Central area: Nicosia – 39°C, Ercan – 39°C
- Eastern coast: Famagusta – 33°C, İskele – 35°C
- Karpas: Yenierenköy – 36°C
