Weather Forecast for June 3: Temperature Soars to 40°C in Northern Cyprus
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Monday, June 3, the region will be under the influence of high pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists predict clear skies with some clouds and atmospheric dust.
Temperatures are expected to rise 4-6°C above the seasonal norm, reaching up to 40°C in certain areas.
The wind will be northwest, with moderate strength. No storms are expected.
Three meteorological warnings are currently in effect in Northern Cyprus. The risk of natural fires is considered very high, and there's also a high level of ultraviolet radiation.
It's recommended to avoid prolonged sun exposure, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
Additionally, since June 1, a dust warning from Africa has been in place for the region, expected to persist until the end of June 6.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 33°C, Lapta – 28°C, Akdeniz - 37°C, Alevkaya - 34°C, Esentepe - 33°C.
Western Coast: Lefke – 34°C, Güzelyurt – 35°C.
Central Part: Nicosia – 40°C, Ercan – 40°C.
Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 33°C, Iskele – 38°C.
Karpas: Yenierenköy – 34°C.
