Nicosia–Güzelyurt Road to Close for Cycling Races
On Sunday, July 21, several roads will be closed to traffic during the cycling races organized by the Cyprus Turkish Cycling Federation.
According to the police press office, the race will begin at the Atatürk Sports Complex in Nicosia. The first group will travel along the route of the Nicosia–Güzelyurt–Kalkanlı–Çamlıbel–Yılmazköy–Alaiköy–Metahan ring road, with the finish line at the Sevgi roundabout.
The second group will return from the Serhatköy underpass via the main Nicosia–Güzelyurt road and will follow the Alaiköy–Metahan route to the finish at the Sevgi roundabout.
During the race, police will escort the cyclists, and all intersections and roundabouts along the route will be temporarily closed to traffic.
