Bougainvilleas Brighten Up Kanbulat Street in Kyrenia
Kanbulat Street in the Kyrenia Bazaar has been adorned with bougainvilleas in flower pots. Kyrenia's mayor, Murat Schenkul, shared news of the city's latest greening project on social media.
The mayor explained that the Kyrenia Municipality had crafted special pots for the city bazaar, and the Bellapais Bougainvillea Inner Wheel Club had provided the bougainvillea plants.
"Kanbulat Street in the Kyrenia Bazaar has blossomed this morning," the mayor wrote.
He also noted that in the coming days, around 500 additional flower pots containing Cypriot jasmine will be placed throughout the streets of Kyrenia. These pots are a gift from the Chinese Bazaar to the municipality.
